Job summary

Azon USA, Inc. is seeking a Control Panel Technician for a full-time role in Kalamazoo, MI. You will build and wire industrial control panels from schematics and blueprints, route and label wires, and modify enclosures to fit equipment.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience, strong knowledge of relay logic, NFPA 79, and ANSI/IEC symbols, and be able to work with CAD drawings and hand tools in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience building and wiring control panels.
• Ability to read schematics, layouts, and CAD drawings.
• Familiar with NFPA 79 and ANSI/IEC electrical symbols.

Responsibilities

• Build industrial control panels from schematics, blueprints, and/or wire diagrams.
• Route, label and bundle wires and cables neatly and according to established electrical standards.
• Cut, fabricate, and modify electrical enclosures to accommodate devices and equipment.
• Energize and test completed control panels.
• Inspect finished control panels to verify that all specifications and quality standards have been met.
• Assembling finished panels and/or boxes onto machinery.
• Assist in assembly of machinery.
• Assist in finishing area, i.e Paint/Powdercoat/Black Oxide coatings.
