Job summary

Azon USA, Inc. in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a skilled panel assembler to build industrial control panels from schematics and wiring diagrams. You will route, label, and neatly bundle wires, fabricate enclosures, energize and test assemblies, and inspect panels for quality.

The role requires at least 2 years of panel wiring experience, familiarity with ANSI & IEC symbols, NFPA 79 knowledge, and ability to lift 50+ pounds. Competitive hourly pay and benefits include 401(k) and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years building and wiring control panels.
• Experience with relay logic and electronic controls for industrial equipment.
• Able to read electrical schematics, panel layouts and CAD drawings.
• Understands ANSI and IEC symbols.
• Knowledge of NFPA 79.
• Able to use hand tools and small power tools.
• Familiar with pneumatics and hydraulics.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Build industrial control panels based on schematic, blueprint, and/or wire diagrams.
• Route, label and bundle wires and cables neatly and according to established electrical standards.
• Cut, fabricate, and modify electrical enclosures to accommodate devices and equipment.
• Energize and test completed control panels.
• Inspect finished control panels to verify that all specifications and quality standards have been met.
• Assembling finished panels and/or boxes onto machinery.
• Assist in assembly of machinery.
• Assist in finishing area, i.e Paint/Powdercoat/Black Oxide coatings.
