Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Control & Instrumentation for our Ice Cream Plant in Norwood, Ohio. 1st shift, 7am–3:30pm. Pay rate based on experience.

You will develop and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems, calibrate instrumentation and support process control initiatives. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience in power/industrial environments, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in power production or similar process industries with hands-on operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and safety mindset.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a plant setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop programs for PLC-based control systems to implement defined logic.
• Develop and modify HMI software to meet interface requirements.
• Troubleshoot and repair plant instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Implement process control solutions for improvements and new projects.
• Coordinate field activities with operations management and other teams.
