Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on large industrial projects from startup through closeout. The role requires managing subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and quality while maintaining safety standards on active sites nationwide.

Travel is required, with a focus on assisting projects across various markets and regions. The position is onsite in Phoenix, AZ with a contract-to-hire arrangement and a competitive hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industrial construction experience at superintendent level.
• Experience leading cold storage, manufacturing, warehouse or similar facilities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and contracts.
• Strong CPM scheduling and project controls experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations from startup through closeout on large industrial projects.
• Ensure safety, schedule, budget and quality targets are met.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate multi-trade activities.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with critical path milestones.
• Procure materials and manage on-site workflows daily.
• Collaborate with PMs, owners, architects, engineers and trades.
• Lead safety programs and mentor field personnel.
