Job summary

Jobot is recruiting a seasoned Superintendent in the Greater Atlanta area to lead all phases of construction from planning through finish. You will manage budgets, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure adherence to design intent while maintaining safety standards on-site.

The role requires 5+ years supervisory experience in industrial construction, a related degree, and proficiency in construction software. Travel and OSHA familiarity are a plus. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in industrial construction.
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and processes.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proven budget and risk management experience.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in construction software programs.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
• OSHA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of the project life cycle from conception to completion.
• Develop and manage project budgets within financial parameters.
• Identify and mitigate risks with effective risk management.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specs to ensure design intent.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and enforce safety standards on-site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
• Foster relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subs.
• Resolve on-site issues and conflicts to keep projects moving.
• Prepare and present regular project reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
