Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Scheduler for our Industrial business unit to develop integrated project schedules, coordinate inputs from project managers, guide baselines, and manage time impact processes throughout the project lifecycle.

You will analyze subcontractor schedules and ensure sound industry practices in construction scheduling, while mentoring team members and driving lean workflows across preconstruction and field operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in project or construction management or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years scheduling experience, 3+ years in construction scheduling.
• LEAN construction principles experience desired; PSP designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify scheduling needs and oversee schedule management processes to ensure policy adherence.
• Review schedules’ accuracy and ensure DCMA health requirements are met.
• Provide in-person training on scheduling practices and software as needed.
• Prepare and build complex cost and resource-loaded baseline schedules with project teams.
• Develop detailed performance and progress reports highlighting major risks for leadership.
