Job summary

You will coordinate employees, subcontractors, materials, and equipment to meet specifications, schedules, and budgets. The ideal candidate has five years of project management experience in construction and a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Five (5) years of project management experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and establish effective working relationships with project stakeholders.
• Organize and execute the project safety program per company policies and initiate safety meetings.
• Interface with the client as primary contact and communicate project setup information and status.
• Develop and analyze project documentation including contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Plan execution of the physical work and develop the project schedule for long-term planning.
• Coordinate schedule with subcontractors and vendors; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
• Maintain budget controls and report monthly on profitability.
• Prepare, quote and negotiate contract changes with guidance from management.
• Communicate with support units and local union officials; promote goodwill with clients and partners.
