Gotion Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Industrial Construction for our Manteno, IL facility. You will lead large-scale capital projects from concept through commissioning, overseeing budgets over $50 million while ensuring safety, schedule, and compliance.

Strong technical knowledge of industrial electrical systems and facility construction is essential. The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Facilities, and Supply

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 5–7+ years of project management experience leading industrial construction or manufacturing facility projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing capital projects exceeding $50 million.
• Proven experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple industrial construction and facility infrastructure projects simultaneously, with individual and combined project budgets exceeding $50 million.
• Lead projects through planning, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Facilities, Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Quality, EHS, and external contractors.
• Review engineering drawings, electrical one‑line diagrams, P&IDs, construction documents, and technical specifications.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of industrial electrical, mechanical, HVAC, chiller, and utility systems.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards, building codes, environmental regulations, and governmental requirements.
• Manage contractor performance, RFIs, change orders, project documentation, and construction quality.
• Identify project risks, troubleshoot technical challenges, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Coordinate utility infrastructure projects with utility providers, municipalities, and government agencies.
• Provide regular executive updates regarding project status, schedules, budgets, and risks.
