TRC Talent Solutions is seeking an Industrial Construction Project Manager to lead the build-out, commissioning, and startup of a large-scale manufacturing facility in Wisconsin. The role will oversee power, ventilation, welding station layouts, and automation implementations, coordinating between owners, contractors, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of facility startup, construction, and operational launch activities.
• Manage the facility build-out, including power distribution, ventilation, utility infrastructure, and welding station layouts.
• Coordinate installation and commissioning of manufacturing equipment, automation systems, and production technologies.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Serve as the primary liaison between ownership, contractors, engineering teams, vendors, and operational leadership.
• Drive execution of facility readiness, construction activities, equipment installation, and production ramp-up efforts.
• Manage automation vendors, systems integrators, electrical contractors, and equipment suppliers.
• Support development of operating procedures, workforce readiness plans, and training initiatives.
• Monitor project performance and provide executive-level reporting on schedules, budgets, risks, and milestones.
• Lead facility commissioning, testing, validation, and operational handoff activities.
• Support future facility expansion and manufacturing growth initiatives.

TRC Talent Solutions is partnering with a growing advanced manufacturing organization to hire an Industrial Construction Project Manager. This role will lead the build-out, commissioning, and startup of a large-scale manufacturing facility, including the development of infrastructure supporting a 75-station welding operation. The ideal candidate has experience leading plant startups, industrial construction projects, automation integrations, and manufacturing facility expansions.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of facility startup, construction, and operational launch activities.

Requirements

• Experience managing industrial construction, facility build-outs, manufacturing expansions, or plant startup projects.

• Proven success leading manufacturing facility launches, automation implementations, or capital equipment installations.

• Experience supporting high-density welding environments, including power, ventilation, utility, and safety infrastructure.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production readiness, and industrial construction practices.

• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of automation systems, industrial equipment, and manufacturing technologies.

• Working knowledge of EHS requirements, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and industrial infrastructure.

• Experience working alongside automation vendors, systems integrators, and engineering teams.

• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth manufacturing environment.
