Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Project Engineer to support field operations on industrial projects.

You will report to the Director of Industrial Services and ensure our field teams have the materials, equipment, and information needed to complete the scope of work. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 1–3 years of experience, plus proficiency in MS Office and PDF editing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, and 1–3 years of experience; construction environment preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Project, Excel, Outlook) and PDF editing software (Bluebeam, Adobe).
• Familiarity with 3D modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, Inventor, Navisworks) is a plus.
• Ability to learn company-specific software (e.g., Procore and Viewpoint).
• Proven track record working with people, teams and projects.
• Must be able to multi-task with minimal supervision and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist project management with permits, proposals, contracts, schedules and change orders.
• Review specifications and drawings to prepare subcontractor scopes and track progress.
• Prepare and distribute RFIs and submittals and maintain logs.
• Manage project materials and equipment purchases, vendor relations, ordering and invoicing.
• Coordinate and attend project meetings with clients, subcontractors, and vendors; document minutes.
• Support field in expediting schedules, field paperwork, and equipment/materials.
• Assist with safety enforcement, quality, budget, and project progress.
