Job summary

Loenbro, LLC in Greenville, TX seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and successful execution of commercial and industrial construction projects. You will assist with scheduling, cost tracking, procurement, subcontractor coordination, project documentation, and client communications to keep projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has an engineering or construction management degree and at least 2 years of coordination or project engineering

Qualifications

• Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred.
• Experience on large scale commercial/industrial projects (≥$10M).
• Minimum 2+ years as coordinator, project engineer, assistant project engineer, or similar in mechanical/structural construction.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with executing large-scale commercial/industrial construction projects across data center, power, renewables, mining, and oil & gas sectors.
• Support planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting through all project phases.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor resources for efficient, cost-effective execution.
• Monitor schedules and help mitigate delays or risks.
• Track costs, quantities, and progress to keep projects on budget and on schedule.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation (RFIs, submittals, POs, change orders, meeting minutes).
• Assist with procurement activities, vendor coordination, material tracking, and equipment scheduling.
• Collaborate with field supervision to verify work meets specs and contract requirements.
• Participate in meetings and communicate updates to clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with closeout activities including punch lists, turnover documents, warranties, and final reporting.
