Job summary

HITT Contracting in Dallas is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager for Advanced Manufacturing/Industrial projects. You will lead the project from conception through completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and quality.

You will manage budgets, schedules, RFPs, client communications, and coordination with subcontractors and internal teams. The role requires strong leadership, multi-project capability, and a proven track record in commercial construction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in construction, engineering, or business preferred; otherwise equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, and JD Edwards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety standards and file required documentation.
• Create and manage project budgets for all assigned projects.
• Develop and collaborate on pre-construction RFP packages.
• Lead project meetings, set milestones, and produce monthly owner reports.
• Establish job processes (RFIs, submittals, and pay applications) including approving pay applications and negotiating subcontract changes.
• Perform project scheduling; ensure project quality control and establish overall project logistics.
• Manage the closeout process efficiently.
• Discuss client needs and how company services meet them.
• Supervise assistant project managers, administrative staff, MEP managers, and safety team members.
• Collaborate with the project superintendent and site operations throughout the project.
