Job summary

Bilfinger is seeking a Construction Planner/Scheduler to join our heavy industrial team. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain detailed project schedules, define scope and resources with project managers, and ensure on-time completion of industrial construction activities.

You will use Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project to monitor progress, coordinate with procurement and staffing, and support budget and risk-management efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling, preferably in industrial sectors.
• Proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in industrial settings; PMP/CAPM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules with milestones and deliverables.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to define scope, timelines, and resource needs.
• Create and update detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with procurement and staffing to ensure material and labor availability.
• Assist in budget development and cost estimation; track expenditures against budget.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies; conduct regular risk assessments.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and facilitate schedule reviews.
• Ensure planning and scheduling activities comply with safety standards and quality requirements.
