Job summary

HITT Contracting in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager – Industrial. The APM will assist in delivering projects on time and within budget, supporting the project team from pre-construction through closeout, and advancing toward growth opportunities within the firm.

You will help manage budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals and change orders, collaborate with superintendents and clients, and uphold HITT's safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable.
• 2–5 years of commercial construction experience with a general contractor.
• Experience on commercial job sites preferred; passion for construction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to safety standards.
• Assist in creating and managing project budgets.
• Develop pre-construction RFP packages.
• Assist in project meetings and monthly owner reports.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and pay applications; approve change orders.
• Collaborate with the project superintendent and site team throughout the project.
