Job summary

Total-Western, Inc. is seeking a skilled Civil Concrete Finisher to prepare, place, and finish concrete foundations and floors on industrial sites. You will work with carpenters and project managers to ensure timelines and quality meet stringent specifications.

Responsibilities include forming, finishing, cure preparation, and surface treatments while maintaining safety and OSHA guidelines on busy construction sites. Travel to job sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship or vocational training in concrete finishing preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete finishing on industrial construction projects.
• Expertise in smoothing, leveling, and texturing concrete surfaces; knowledge of additives and curing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare concrete for pouring: set forms, place reinforcement, ensure level surfaces.
• Finish concrete with hand and power tools to meet specifications and ensure quality.
• Apply curing compounds and texture finishes for durability and aesthetics.
• Read and interpret blueprints to guide placement and finishing.
