Job summary

TIC_Craft in Texas Abilene is seeking an intermediate Concrete Carpenter to plan, lay out and install forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts for concrete structures in accordance with plans, specs and codes.

You will read prints, erect scaffolding, measure, cut and assemble, pour and finish concrete, and work in industrial settings. Experience in power plants or industrial environments and safe tool use are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Concrete Carpenter in a Power Plant / Industrial setting.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
• Able to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret prints, drawings, plans and specifications.
• Constructs, erects, installs and repairs structures, scaffolding and framework.
• Measure, cut, assemble and install forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts; build forms
• Erect built-in-place or prefabricated forms and brace them for accuracy.
• Pour concrete, finish surfaces and install items per plans/specs.
