Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Technician in Greensboro, NC to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain air compressors and related components. You will use precision tools and operation manuals to diagnose and service equipment at customer sites.

This role includes an on-call rotation and occasional travel (1–2 times per year, 5–10%). A high school diploma, valid driver's license, and ability to train customers are required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience troubleshooting industrial mechanical systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean record in past years.
• EPA 608 / F-GAS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and repair equipment at customer sites.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of installation and repair requirements.
• Provide technical advice and train customers and staff.
• Submit detailed service reports and time/expense records.
