  • Previous construction, manufacturing, or mechanical experience.
  • Experience as an industrial painter or related field.
  • Proven ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and provide effective solutions.

Job Summary

United Coatings invites applications for the full-time positions of experienced Industrial Powder Coaters to become integral members of our Industrial Coatings team based in Sedro Woolley, Washington. We are seeking individuals who prioritize safety above all and possess substantial experience in industrial coating processes, including the application of powders using plural component equipment, metalizing, and hand blasting. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of five years of professional experience in the field of industrial coatings.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body, able to reach overhead, able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, Squatting; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance for extended periods of time. Be able to lift, pull and push material and equipment to complete assigned job tasks. Be able to lift 70 pounds. The employee will be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors. This position requires physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities in a primarily production environment. The work environment characteristics here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
