Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of industrial painting/sandblasting, can read drawings, and are familiar with epoxy, urethane, and zinc-rich coatings. Day-to-day duties include surface prep, coating application, inspection, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of industrial painting and sandblasting experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings, work orders, and SDS documents.
• Knowledge of epoxy, urethane, and zinc-rich coating systems.
• Comfort with confined spaces and wearing PPE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare steel and metal surfaces through sandblasting and remove rust, scale, and coatings.
• Apply epoxy, urethane, and zinc-rich primers and coatings.
• Operate airless, HVLP, and conventional spray equipment.
• Use drawings and SDS to complete coating work accurately.
• Check coating thickness and ensure project specs are met.
• Inspect equipment and perform minor adjustments or repairs as needed.
• Work in confined spaces, elevated areas, and variable conditions.
• Follow PPE, safety procedures, and document progress and QC data.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and collaborate with team.
