Job summary

Sabre Industries is seeking a Painter & Blaster to perform surface preparation, spray-gun application of coatings, and blasting in a large pole coating facility. You’ll operate forklifts, follow blueprints, and ensure compliance with safety regulations during the painting process.

Responsibilities include preparing surfaces, applying high-build epoxies, maintaining equipment, and recording labor hours. Strong attention to safety and environmental rules is required; heavy physical work is

Qualifications

• Experience in paint booth or blast operations preferred.
• Must be able to obtain STS Crane/Forklift Certification.
• Able to read blueprints and tape measures.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• English language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate large forklifts and associated paint equipment.
• Follow blueprints for coating dimensions.
• Prepare and set-up/blast with sand, shot, or grit.
• Use blaster to prepare surfaces for coating.
• Apply epoxies and paints with industrial spray equipment.
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot or report issues.
• Record labor hours and process information.
• Follow safety and environmental regulations and policies.
• Additional duties as assigned.
