Job summary

Stellar Energy is seeking a 2nd Class Painter for the 2nd shift in our Jacksonville, FL facility. You will operate spray painting and sandblasting equipment to apply industrial coatings and support in adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role requires attention to coating data sheets, SDS compliance, and safe handling of PPE in a noisy fabrication environment. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of related experience; preferred certifications include

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of related experience or training.
• Preferred: NACE and SSPC industrial painting certifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain spray painting and sandblasting equipment.
• Follow SSPC/NACE standards and safety protocols.
• Ensure quality and accurate documentation per SEA standards.
• Supervise helpers and coordinate daily tasks as assigned.
