Stellar Energy Americas Inc. is seeking a 2nd Class Painter for the 2nd shift at our Jacksonville, FL facility. The role focuses on operating and maintaining spray painting and sandblasting equipment to apply various industrial coatings.

Responsibilities include ensuring coating compatibility with data sheets, meeting safety guidelines, and documenting quality reports. Candidates should have 3+ years of related experience and may have NACE/SSPC certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years related experience or training preferred.
• 2+ years in Industrial Coatings preferred; NACE/SSPC certification desired.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain spray painting and sandblasting equipment.
• Understand coating product data sheets and SDS for safe, timely application.
• Ensure compliance with SSPC/NACE standards and document results.
• Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Monitor quality, safety, and health regulations and report findings.
• Direct and monitor helpers as needed.
• Prepare for ISO 9001 and other audits.
