Job summary
AssetGuard Products, Inc. seeks an experienced Industrial Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive bids for polyurea coating projects across water infrastructure, tanks, roofing and waterproofing.
You will own the estimating process from bid review through site assessment, takeoff, pricing, and proposal, collaborating with operations to ensure profitable delivery. The role requires 5+ years in estimating, coatings background, and strong Excel and takeoff software skills, with travel 10–25% and
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years estimating in industrial, construction, or coatings work.
- Hands-on coatings experience as applicator, foreman, or PM.
- Experience with water, wastewater, or municipal infra projects.
- Proficiency with Excel and takeoff software.
Responsibilities
- Review bids, drawings, specs and determine requirements and risks.
- Perform takeoffs and convert to material requirements and costs.
- Develop labor, equipment, and crew costs from production rates.
- Obtain and compare pricing from suppliers and subs.
- Prepare bid proposals and participate in pre-bid meetings.
