Job summary

AssetGuard Products, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive bids for spray-applied polyurea coatings.

You will own the estimating process from bid review through site assessment, takeoff, pricing, and proposal, coordinating with operations to ensure profitability. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree (construction management or engineering) or equivalent, 5+ years estimating experience in industrial or coatings work, and proficiency with Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years estimating experience in industrial, construction, or coatings work, with at least 3 years in polyurea or spray-applied coatings.
• Hands-on background as a coatings applicator, foreman, or project manager.

Responsibilities

• Review bid packages, drawings, specs, and scopes of work to determine project requirements and risks.
• Travel to project sites to take measurements, assess conditions, and document constraints.
• Perform area-based takeoffs and convert them to material requirements.
• Estimate surface preparation, including abrasive blasting and priming.
• Develop labor, equipment, and crew costs using production rates.
