Job summary

DuraServ is seeking an experienced technician to support R&D, maintenance and CNC programming in a hybrid environment in Wooster, OH. You will troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems, interpret blueprints, and develop CNC programs to meet GD&T specifications while supporting the engineering team and capital projects.

Ideal candidates have strong CAD/CAM skills, PLC knowledge, and a track record of reducing downtime and improving tool life in a lean manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience supporting engineering and operations in a LEAN environment.
• Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of complex mechanical equipment, CNC equipment, electrical and automation systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs (AM & PM) to production and facilities equipment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with production and engineering to solve problems and implement solutions quickly and safely.
• Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, read ladder logic and adjust machine controls.
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, tooling requirements and support CNC programming efforts.
• Create manufacturing drawings and 3D migrations from 2D drawings.
• Provide support to engineering with capital projects and improvements.
