Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in California seeks an experienced Solutions Architect to lead technical engagements for Engineering, Construction, Real Estate, and Transportation customers.

You will define architectural direction, build PoCs, and validate solutions in customer environments while guiding internal teams to success. You will work with senior technical leaders, apply GenAI and AI-assisted development, and own critical architectural decisions across deployments, security, and cost.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT development or infrastructure experience.
• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Build working prototypes in customer sandbox environments using AI-augmented tools to validate architecture.
• Implement PoCs for digital twins, fleet IoT, predictive maintenance, and agentic AI to validate approaches.
• Deploy IaC in customer sandboxes to demonstrate scalable, secure patterns.
• Apply GenAI and multi‑agent systems to solve ECRT customer problems.
• Frame and resolve technical trade-offs with clear recommendations and alternatives.
• Make cross‑cutting architectural decisions ensuring coherence across teams and workstreams.
• Diagnose resilience, failover, scaling bottlenecks, and security issues in industrial environments.
• Own architectural decisions and ensure alignment with customer reality and needs.
