Job summary

Thompson Construction Group, Inc. seeks an industrious cleaner to support operations in a large manufacturing plant. Primary duties include cleaning tobacco around machinery, maintaining a safe, orderly work area, and complying with all safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly with supervisor/co-workers and understand direction from supervisor.
• Must be able to utilize basic math and read a tape measure.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb, bend, twist, push, pull, stand, and reach repetitively
• Work in hot/cold/damp/cramped environments
• Must be able to utilize a ladder.
• Must be able to work in high elevations. Heights may be more than 20 feet from the ground.
• 40 or more hours per week with possible weekend work
• Must be able to pass a background check with no felonies within the last seven years.
• Must be able to pass a 5-panel drug screen, which includes THC.
