University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking a Chiller Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair eight onsite chillers at Charter Street and Walnut Street facilities. The role supports maintenance of Air Handlers and pumps, coordinating with vendors to keep critical equipment operational on a 100% FTE basis.

The job requires a minimum of five years working on industrial chillers, with EPA Universal Certification preferred.

Formación

• Minimum five (5) years working on industrial chillers.
• EPA Universal Certification (A 608 Type III or higher, or equivalent) preferred.
• Valid driver's license per UW Risk Management Standards.

Responsabilidades

• Cleans work area upon completion of projects per guidelines.
• Gathers materials, prepares work area, and maintains equipment and supplies.
• Interprets blueprints to assess materials and equipment; discusses project plan with client.
• Installs, troubleshoots, and services HVACR systems and equipment.
• Keeps records and reports of work status and completion.
