Job summary

Smart Family of Cooling Products is seeking an Industrial Chiller Field Service Specialist to maintain, diagnose, and repair chillers and related equipment across industrial settings, including New Orleans, LA. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose performance issues with precision instruments, and restore systems to peak operation.

You’ll install, service, and repair refrigeration systems, handle refrigerants, use meters and gauges, and follow safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Deep knowledge of chiller equipment and systems.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret chiller operation and repair manuals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver scheduled maintenance to keep chiller systems operating effectively.
• Pinpoint and troubleshoot issues on in-service chillers using meters, gauges, and diagnostic tools.
• Repair or replace components to return equipment to full function.
• Install, service, and repair industrial refrigeration systems with refrigerant handling and controls.
• Follow safety standards and perform overtime as required.
