Job summary

Texas AirSystems is hiring a Chiller Service Technician to perform routine and unscheduled maintenance on industrial chillers, pumps, and related HVAC equipment across Texas. You will diagnose issues, source parts, calibrate systems, and coordinate with project managers and customers to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires strong customer service, problem solving and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in chiller/HVAC maintenance
• HVAC certification
• OSHA 10 Training (required or preferred)
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• EPA certification preferred for some roles

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance and repair of industrial mechanical systems including chillers, pumps, cooling towers, AHUs, valves, VAV systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical defects; source parts and calibrate systems per manufacturer specs.
• Oversee installation and operation of mechanical systems.
• Assist in training materials and tools for chiller/HVAC maintenance.
• May require night or weekend work to service emergencies.
