Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a motivated Chemical Operations & Maintenance Technician to support a heavy industrial pulp and paper operation in Longview, Washington. This on-site role combines chemical handling, inventory management, mechanical maintenance, and basic laboratory testing.

You will troubleshoot and maintain pumps and hydraulic systems, perform routine inspections, document results, and follow safety and environmental guidelines while learning to work independently after training.

Qualifications

• Experience with chemical handling, inventory tracking, and basic lab testing.
• Mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting of pumps and related equipment.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain chemical inventory, including receiving, tracking, and verification.
• Safely handle, transfer, and store industrial chemicals.
• Troubleshoot and maintain liquid pumping systems and related equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and basic laboratory testing.
