Job Description

Norco, Inc. is currently offering a signing bonus of $1,500.00 for this position. Details of the signing bonus can be discussed during the interview. (Applies to full-time direct new hires only)

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Industrial CDL Route Delivery Driver position. The Industrial CDL Route Delivery Driver delivers and exchanges full cylinders and liquid vessels for empty ones. The Industrial CDL Route Delivery Driver also delivers freight to customers on a weekly route stop. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Loads and unloads freight and accurately fills out truck manifest
• Loads and unloads cylinders
• Accurately fills out gas invoices
• Delivers freight and gas cylinders to customers
• Takes basic orders from customers when needed
• Greets customers in a professional and enthusiastic way
• Answers telephone calls promptly
• Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of products, placement, availability, price, and use
• Sells welding and safety products and services to customers
• Processes customer orders and accurately inputs customer orders into the computer
• Researches products needed for customer special applications
• Follows up on customer orders not processed correctly and remedies the situation
• Stocks shelves when needed
• Performs other tasks as assigned or necessary

Qualifications

• Minimum Class A CDL Idaho Star Card license with Hazmat Endorsement
• Able to pass a DOE Government Background check
• 1 year verifiable city delivery experience preferred
• No at-fault accidents or DOT moving violations resulting in suspension in the past 3 years
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry objects weighing over 100 lbs
• Knowledge of hauling hazardous material
• Ability to accurately enter data into the computer
• Good working knowledge of all industrial products and gases
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
• Minimum 21 years of age
