W.C. Rouse and Son, Inc., a New Page Company, is seeking a Boiler Mechanic in Columbia, SC to provide expert boiler room services and preventative maintenance for clients across the Carolinas.

The role involves inspecting and maintaining boilers, reading schematics, and ensuring safety protocols. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of boiler service experience, knowledge of flame safeguard controls, basic electrical troubleshooting, and proficient use of hand/power tools.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equal education credit
• 5+ years of boiler service experience
• Boiler Flame Safeguard and Operating/Limit Controls troubleshooting
• Basic Electrical Troubleshooting
• Experience with Microsoft Office products
• Military experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Boiler and Boiler Room Equipment Mechanical Services
• Boiler Room Annual Inspection & Preventative Maintenance Services
• Boiler Inspection Services, including securing the boiler, opening, cleaning for inspector, installing new gaskets/rope/closing materials
• Preventive Maintenance Services, performing running safety tests on boilers
• Documentation of Boiler Room Services via Timely and Professionally Completed Service Report
• Knowledge of pump operation and repair
