Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience operating industrial boilers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all mechanical components including valves, pumps, steam traps, piping within boiler, compressed air, and water treatment systems.
• Perform water testing on boiler feed water, condensate, boiler water and plant cooling water; adjust chemical feeds.
• Prepare boiler chemicals as required using PPE.
• Maintain accurate records of system operation, testing, and maintenance.
• Diagnose and correct operational problems in their area of responsibility.
• Assist outside contractors and vendors in troubleshooting and repair.
