Job summary

Rasmussen Mechanical Services is seeking an Industrial Boiler/Burner Service Technician with at least five years of proven mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience. You will perform service calls, installations, and maintenance on burners, boilers, boiler controls, pumps and related components, while leading on-site crews and mentoring junior technicians.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years documented experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of burners and gas train components.
• Strong knowledge of boiler controls and electrical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• License and state certifications required with continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Perform service calls and troubleshooting on burners, boiler controls, pumps, and related equipment.
• Support boiler and burner installations and on-site projects.
• Respond to emergency service needs, including occasional travel and after-hours.
• Maintain accurate service reports and documentation.
• Lead on-site crews and mentor junior technicians.
• Attend training programs and maintain required licenses.
