Job summary

Rasmussen Mechanical Services is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to perform field service on boilers, chillers, and related HVAC equipment. You will install, repair, and maintain systems, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Strong troubleshooting skills and a willingness to train are required. The role involves coordinating with the service manager, handling paperwork, and being on-call on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of documented mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
• Must read, write and understand English; follow written instructions.
• Maintain safety, quality, and efficiency on job sites.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service including boiler/burner/HVAC installations, repair, service, and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain truck inventory and ensure accurate billing and reporting.
• Lead on-site efforts of employees and sub-contractors in a supervisory role.
• Coordinate workload, scheduling, and material needs to meet deadlines.
