Job summary

Rasmussen Mechanical Services is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to perform field service on boiler, burner, and HVAC equipment, with installation, repair, and preventative maintenance tasks. You will maintain inventory, complete daily paperwork, and support sales through crew coordination and customer relations.

Requires a high school diploma and Refrigerant Certification, plus 3–5 years of troubleshooting experience. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to work on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalence required.
• Universal Refrigerant Certification preferred/required.
• 3–5 years of mechanical/electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service including boiler, burner, HVAC installations, repair, and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain truck inventory and ensure accurate parts, inventory, and billing.
• Keep the service vehicle clean and organized; coordinate with warehouse for maintenance.
• Complete paperwork daily: time reporting, service reports, material check-out/in, and safety forms.
• Assist in scheduling labor/materials to meet deadlines and profitability.
• Support sales by defining scope of labor and maintaining customer relationships.
