Job summary

Rotating Machinery Services Inc. is seeking a Blaster in Pasadena, TX for full-time work in a turbomachinery shop. You will blast, clean, coat, and paint components, maintaining a clean, safe workspace and adhering to RMS quality standards.

Training on equipment is provided, with emphasis on safety and collaboration. The position requires 2+ years in an industrial setting, a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and United States work authorization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two plus years experience in industrial or machine shop.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Drug and alcohol screening and background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blasting, solvent cleaning, and painting of rotating equipment.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and organization.
• Operate balance machines, lathes, and mills for painting prep.
• Follow RMS safety policies and quality requirements.
• Assist with logistics and other duties as needed.
