Job summary

Rotating Machinery Services, Inc. is seeking a Blaster to perform blasting, cleaning, and painting of turbomachinery components. The role includes preparing parts, masking, applying coatings, and maintaining shop cleanliness in a fast-paced environment at RMS’s Pasadena, TX facility.

The position requires a safety-focused mindset, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and compliance with pre-employment drug and background checks. Full-time hours with potential for overtime.

Qualifications

• Two plus years of experience in an industrial or machine shop setting preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Authorized to work in the United States; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform blasting, solvent cleaning, and painting of rotating equipment per RMS specifications.
• Maintain clean, organized shop area and operate balance machines, lathes, mills as needed.
• Prepare parts for painting, mask parts, and apply coatings (with training).
• Monitor and report RMS KPIs monthly.
• Assist with logistic issues and general shop cleanup.
