Job summary

Tree Top Inc. is seeking an Assistant Cook to support product batching, startup and cleanup of batching equipment under supervision. The role involves weighing and mixing ingredients precisely and tracking usage and lot numbers to ensure quality.

Responsibilities include following safety standards, collaborating with Lab for specifications, and reporting issues to the Production Supervisor. Full meat processing environment with potential overtime and shift variability.

Qualifications

• Six months to one-year position related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety standards.
• Utilize/follow Industrial Cook and Drum Dumping SOPs.
• Weigh and mix ingredients in an accurate and timely manner.
• Monitor and control progress of batching operation.
• Accurately record ingredient usage including consumption, lot numbers, manufacture dates, and Item codes.
• Inform the Production Supervisor and Maintenance of problems with the operation or maintenance of batching process equipment.
• Work closely with Lab personnel to ensure product is within specification.
• Cleaning and Sanitation of batching equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
