Job summary

Tree Top in Oxnard, CA is seeking an Assistant Cook to support batching operations and assist in start-up and clean-up of batching equipment. Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, you will help with product batching and ensure accurate ingredient handling and documentation.

Responsibilities include following safety standards and SOPs, weighing and mixing ingredients, recording usage and lot details, monitoring batching progress, and performing cleaning and sanitation of equipment.

Qualifications

• Six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety standards.
• Utilize/follow Industrial Cook and Drum Dumping SOPs.
• Weigh and mix ingredients in an accurate and timely manner.
• Monitor and control progress of batching operation.
• Accurately record ingredient usage including consumption, lot numbers, manufacture dates, and Item codes.
• Inform supervisor/maintenance of problems with batching equipment.
• Work with Lab to ensure product is within specification.
• Cleaning and sanitation of batching equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
