Job summary

MUSH is seeking a BatchER to join our Utah manufacturing team. You will batch, weigh, and mix ingredients, ensure production quality, and follow all SOPs and GMPs in a fast-paced environment located in West Valley City.

You will assist with equipment maintenance and sanitation to ensure continuous, compliant production. The role requires 2–5 years in food manufacturing, ability to read recipes precisely, and comfort with production machinery.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in food manufacturing or culinary field.
• Ability to read and follow recipes with accuracy.
• Comfortable operating production machinery.
• Ability to use a scale to weigh multiple ingredients.
• Willing to learn and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety regulations.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized, methodical, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes: sort, weigh, prepare and mix ingredients with extreme accuracy
• Ensures all ingredients, product, supplies, tools and equipment are used, cleaned, and stored according to the standard operating procedures
• Track product lots and fill out production paperwork daily
• Work with maintenance to ensure all machinery is operating efficiently and well maintained, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
• Perform the proper sanitation and cleaning of processing and production equipment

Role Description

Batchers are responsible for the batching and execution of recipes in the production room, quality of products, and following all production and quality procedures. Batchers assist the Machine Operator in ensuring all filling of product is done in specification and compliance to production and quality standards.
