Job summary

Sprinkles Donut Shop in Michigan is hiring an Industrial Baker to join a high-volume production team. In this hands-on role you will prepare large batches of donuts and baked goods according to recipes and quality standards, with focus on consistency, efficiency, and food safety.

You will operate ovens, mixers, and conveyors, measure ingredients, and ensure proper temperatures and timing. The position offers full-time hours, overtime opportunities, health insurance, PTO, and employee discount;

Qualifications

• 2+ years of baking experience in a commercial/production setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Baking/pastry certification or apprenticeship is a plus.
• Strong understanding of baking science and large-scale production processes.
• Ability to read and follow detailed recipes, schedules, and safety procedures.
• Physically fit to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Available for early morning, night, or weekend shifts.
• Food Handler's Certificate or SERV Safe (or willingness to obtain).
• Attention to detail, time management, and commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Measure, weigh, and mix large quantities of ingredients using scales and mixers.
• Prepare batters, doughs, fillings, and icings from recipes.
• Operate ovens, proofers, conveyors, and other baking machinery.
• Knead, shape, and portion dough for pans and sheets.
• Fill, ice, and decorate donuts and pastries.
• Monitor temperatures, humidity, and bake times for quality.
• Pack and label finished goods for distribution or wholesale.
• Perform quality checks on ingredients and products.
• Maintain production records and report issues to supervisors.
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment following food safety guidelines.
