Job summary

Rush City Bakery is seeking a Donut Fryer to join our second-shift production team. You will prepare dough, operate the donut fryer, glaze and finish donuts to our quality standards, and help with other bakery items as needed.

Ideal candidates have bakery or food production experience or are willing to train, can stand for long periods in a hot environment, and embrace a team-focused, detail-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare donut dough according to established recipes and procedures.
• Operate and maintain donut fryer safely and effectively.
• Monitor frying times and oil temperature to ensure quality and consistency.
• Glaze, sugar, or finish donuts as required.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, following food safety and health standards.
• Assist with production of other bakery items as needed.
• Track product counts and minimize waste.
• Communicate with team members to ensure timely completion of orders.
