Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an engineering field with hands-on testing experience.
Experience testing industrial automation equipment.
Ability to develop structured test plans and validation procedures.
Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, controls, and software.
Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and motion control systems.
Experience documenting defects and preparing test reports.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test procedures, and validation checklists for custom automation systems.
Execute functional, performance, safety, and reliability testing on complex industrial equipment.
Validate automated systems that may include robotics, turntables, conveyors, part-loading fixtures, grinding, welding, milling, machining, vision systems, and material handling equipment.
Verify proper operation of PLC-controlled systems, HMIs, sensors, safety circuits, servo systems, and industrial networks.
Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and support Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) activities.
Identify, document, track, and verify the resolution of hardware, software, electrical, mechanical, and process-related issues.
Work closely with software, controls, robotics, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
Generate detailed test reports, issue logs, and validation documentation.
Ensure systems meet customer specifications, internal quality standards, and safety requirements before shipment.
Assist with root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment performance and reliability.
Validate robotic system functionality, including motion sequences, path accuracy, tooling operation, and process repeatability.
