Viable Engineering Solutions in Orlando seeks a Systems Engineer to lead the technical coordination of complex automation projects. You will bridge software, robotics, electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing disciplines to ensure integrated, tested, and delivered systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience in engineering, automation, manufacturing, robotics, controls, or industrial systems integration.

Responsibilities

Act as the technical lead for overall system architecture and integration across software, robotics, controls, electrical, and mechanical disciplines.
Define system requirements, functional specifications, interface documents, and acceptance criteria for automation projects.
Translate customer requirements into clear technical requirements for internal teams and external vendors.
Develop technical packages, statements of work, and specifications for third‑party suppliers.
Coordinate and hold vendors accountable for meeting technical, schedule, performance, and quality requirements.
Evaluate proposals, designs, and deliverables from suppliers and integration partners.
Ensure integration between robots, CNC machines, PLCs, HMIs, vision systems, sensors, and safety equipment.
