Job summary

Proconex, the exclusive Emerson Impact Partner for Emerson Automation Solutions in the Mid-Atlantic, seeks an Application Engineer - Systems to develop solution architectures, estimates, and proposals. Based at our Royersford, PA headquarters with a hybrid on-site schedule three days per week, you will collaborate with multiple engineering teams and customers to deliver tailored automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field is required.
• 1+ year reading and interpreting technical drawings, manuals, etc.
• 1+ year producing written communications in a professional/technical setting.
• 1+ year experience with accuracy and attention to detail.
• 1+ year experience using Microsoft Word andExcel.
• 1+ year learning/applying technical systems, products, or technologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical advisor to Systems Sales Group with expertise in products, architectures, and BOMs.
• Develop technical solutions aligned with customer requirements and objectives.
• Support customer site walkdowns, demonstrations, and field activities as needed.
• Develop and review professional proposals with clear scope of work and pricing.
