Job summary

General Motors LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Software Integration Engineer to develop, integrate, and support software and controls for validating vehicle electrical systems across GM's global manufacturing network.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, IT, controls, validation, and engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions and drive continuous improvement in production-critical systems.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in manufacturing, automation, or similar environments.
• Proficient in C, C++, C# or related languages.
• Experience with PLC platforms and industrial networking.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support software validating vehicle electrical systems across GM's global network.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues involving software, PLCs, networks, and equipment.
• Support validation activities using test benches, production equipment, and vehicles.
• Develop integrations between software applications, PLCs, robotics, and enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, IT, controls, validation, and plant teams to deploy scalable solutions.
• Provide technical leadership on complex integration projects and drive on-time delivery.
• Improve reliability and efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support production-critical systems and participate in deployment and readiness activities.
