GE Vernova's Gas Power business seeks an experienced Automation Technician to install, troubleshoot, and optimize robotic systems and production automation. You will diagnose complex faults across electrical, mechanical, and controls interfaces and support improvements to reliability and safety.

The role requires at least 4 years in manufacturing/automation, strong PLC/HMI and robotics knowledge, and willingness to work multiple shifts in a Bangor, ME facility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical diploma, or certification in mechatronics, robotics, industrial automation, electrical or controls technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing, automation, robotics, or advanced maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting integrated industrial equipment beyond routine replacement.
• Working knowledge of industrial robotics, PLCs, HMIs, servo/motion systems, and safety systems.
• Flexibility to work A, B, or C shift.

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize robotic systems and automated equipment in production.
• Troubleshoot PLC logic, robot programs, CNC interfaces, servo systems, and HMIs.
• Perform diagnostics, parameter adjustments, and change-management activities.
• Lead root cause analysis to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
• Support system integration upgrades, startup, and validation of new automation.
• Mentor maintenance technicians and operators on troubleshooting practices.
