Job summary
GE Vernova is seeking an Automation & Robotics Technician to install, maintain, and optimize automated equipment on the shop floor. You’ll support production by ensuring reliable robotic systems, performing preventive maintenance, and collaborating with engineers, maintenance, and operations teams.
You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues, participate in system upgrades, and contribute to safety and compliance efforts while adhering to site procedures and PPE
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification in Mechatronics, Robotics, Industrial Automation, or Electrical/Mechanical Technology (or equivalent).
- 2+ years experience in manufacturing or automation environments.
- Basic knowledge of industrial robotics, PLC systems, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain robotic systems and automated production equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control issues.
- Assist with programming PLCs, CNCs, and robots; work with HMIs to monitor systems.
